Eleven lofts in a nineteenth-century brick boiler factory on Queen Street East, converted in the early 2000s.
Overview & history
The red brick building with buff Italianate detailing was built in the late nineteenth century as a boiler factory, and later served as a retail showroom and warehouse for Waddington's auction house.
Paul De Haas converted it into eleven lofts with post-and-beam ceilings up to roughly fourteen feet, exposed brick and private terraces. Several units are multi-level and many original buyers customised their own layouts.
