Broadview Lofts
A 1914 pharmaceutical warehouse on the site of Toronto's first baseball park, converted by Sorbara in 2006 with a glass penthouse on top.
Overview & history
The United Drugs warehouse kept its concrete floors, brick and post-and-beam structure, and ceilings run about 10 feet on the original floors. The conversion added a two-storey set-back penthouse level with roof terraces and a newer wing along Broadview.
Suites run from about 800 to 1,600 square feet. On market data the building trades mostly as one-bedrooms and one-bedroom plus dens in the 800 to 1,200 square foot range.
