The 1915 Butterick Publishing Company building on Wellington Street West, converted into eleven large hard lofts around 2001.
Overview & history
Butterick Publishing distributed sewing patterns and fashion magazines from this six-storey red brick and stone building, a good example of the early tall commercial building, organised into base, shaft and cornice.
The conversion produced only eleven suites, roughly two per floor above the first, several with private direct-to-suite elevators. Units run from about 1,400 to 5,000 square feet, with ceilings around fourteen feet.
