The Ce De Candy Company, maker of Rockets, occupied the premises before moving production to Newmarket. Sources disagree on when the structure was built and what it was built for.
The conversion produced 121 lofts across six storeys, with sandblasted brick, plank hardwood, fir columns and beams, exposed ductwork and ceilings reported at 12 to 14 feet, up to two-level penthouses.
