A conversion of the former Patterson Candy Company plant at Queen and Massey, joined by a new six-storey addition.
Overview & history
The Patterson Candy Company opened its west-end chocolate factory at Queen Street West and Massey Street in 1912 and worked there until the late 1950s.
Plazacorp linked the two surviving factory buildings with a new six-storey structure. Hard lofts show wood or corrugated-metal ceilings around 12 feet, timber posts, steel beams and exposed brick; the addition holds concrete-ceilinged soft lofts.
