Sources agree the building was an early-1900s factory tied to baseball-equipment manufacturing, but Toronto Life found no evidence for the Rawlings attribution that several listing sites repeat, and Strata calls it a leather factory instead.
The conversion sold units as unfinished shells for owners to finish. Reported storey counts run from four to six and unit counts from ten to twelve.
