59 Developments, named for the address, built it to designs by CORE Architects. The building is about 30 metres tall and balances concrete against glass, with concrete or glass walls inside, exposed ductwork and large rounded pillars.

Suites run from studios to multi-storey penthouses, with floor-to-ceiling windows, exposed concrete, gas ranges, and Juliet or step-out balconies on many plans. Terraces and balconies carry gas lines. Sizes run from about 476 to 2,000 square feet.
