Not a listing site. A catalogue of (almost) every loft building downtown — its history, its conversion, and every sale closed in it over ten years. Free to join.
Each address opens to its own record: history, statistics and every closed sale. Compare any building against up to two others.
A 65-unit conversion of the former Imperial Optical warehouse and office buildings at 80 and 90 Sherbourne.
The complex is two adjoining structures: a six-storey brick-and-beam warehouse at 90 Sherbourne and a lower Art Deco office building at 80. Both were occupied by the Imperial Optical Company through much of the twentieth century. Plazacorp converted them in the late 1990s into 65 lofts under one corporation.
Units run from one-bedroom suites to two-storey three-bedroom lofts with terraces, keeping exposed red brick, timber beams and ventilation ducts. Shared facilities are a party room and a rooftop terrace.
How often units trade and what they trade for, computed from closed sales only.
Market data records size as a band (e.g. 800–899 sq ft). Every price per square foot on this page uses the midpoint of the band.
The line is the year's blended figure (total dollars over total square feet); the shaded band spans the bottom-to-top-of-band range.
Year figures move with the mix of what sold.
Every closed sale in the record, newest first.
Get told when a unit here comes to market, and what it is asking against the building's own history.
