Overview & history
The building worked as a factory before conversion; sources identify a fabric or knitting mill use, and one records the Quaker Candy Company as the first traceable tenant. The 1998 conversion produced 28 units, from bachelor suites to two-bedroom lofts.
Interiors keep red brick, heavy beams, exposed ductwork, slatted wood ceilings, hardwood and tall windows, with ceilings around 11 feet. There are four storeys over a basement set roughly half below grade, and a vintage freight elevator.
