A converted Robert Simpson Co. mail-order warehouse, heritage-designated in 1997 and sold as both 135 and 155 Dalhousie.
Overview & history
The complex was built in stages for the Robert Simpson Co.: a 1910 warehouse, a 1916 Mail Order Building by Max Dunning with Burke, Horwood and White, and a 1930 addition by Frank S. Corley. It later served Simpsons-Sears and Sears Canada.
Cresford Developments converted it in phases around the turn of the century. Because the work was phased, the property is governed by several condominium corporations rather than one, and the two marketed addresses belong to the same complex.
