A fifteen-unit conversion of an early-twentieth-century industrial building at Richmond and Sherbourne.
Overview & history
The building was converted to fifteen loft residences around 1997, with two floors added above the original structure. Units are single-level or two-storey, with exposed brick, high ceilings and multi-pane windows; penthouses have private roof terraces.
The original use is disputed. Listing sites describe a musical instrument factory; the one source that checked found no evidence for that and documents Benjamin Film Laboratories, a colour film processor, in the building from 1952 to 1996.
