St. Leslieville Church Lofts
An Anglican church of the 1910s on Jones Avenue north of Queen Street East, converted into fourteen lofts behind its brick walls and lancet windows.
Overview & history
The building was St. Clement's Anglican Church, dated 1913 or 1914. Religious use ended in 2006 and it stood empty for years before deCargani Developments began the conversion in 2015. The Gothic Revival exterior and its lancet windows were kept, and brick walls left exposed inside.
There are fourteen lofts, occupying anywhere from one to four levels inside the church volume, and sizes run roughly 640 to 2,400 square feet. Upper units have vaulted ceilings, and each unit comes with indoor parking.
