Starwood Centre Lofts
A late-1980s office building at Richmond and Brant converted to residential and live-work lofts in the mid-1990s.
Overview & history
The site was vacant through the 1980s and sold in 1989, when the Richmond Brant Group began selling office condominium units. The building opened as commercial office space; the first residential market data sale was recorded in 1996.
Units keep exposed concrete floors, columns and ceilings, with ceiling heights reported between 11 and 15 feet. Ground-floor space remains commercial and several floors still mix residential and commercial occupants.
