A seven-unit conversion of a former Christian mission hall and synagogue on Brunswick Avenue, completed in 2024.
Overview & history
The building opened as a gospel mission hall, then housed a synagogue congregation until 1965 and the Toronto School of Art from 1972 to 1988. It stood vacant for about a decade.
Kopas Developments and Suulin Architects kept the original exterior walls and built what the developer describes as an entirely new building inside the shell, with two prism-shaped roof additions below the original ridge. The result is seven two-storey homes.
