A red brick industrial building from the 1940s on a short Cabbagetown street, converted into eleven lofts.

The building went up in the 1940s on a Cabbagetown lot that had held houses since the 1800s. Its industrial tenants included an elevator manufacturer and, in the 1970s, the Sword Street Press. Peach Pit Projects converted it, somewhere between 1996 and the early 2000s.
There are eleven units over three storeys, with 12-foot ceilings behind multi-paned industrial windows. Sizes run from about 1,100 to 2,500 square feet, and some units have their own street entrances and private patios.
The industrial building is completed, replacing the houses.
The Sword Street Press occupies the building.
